Have you spent years living on autopilot only to wake up one day and realize that you’ve ignored your deepest dreams and desires?

You’ve forgotten who you are, your essence, what truly makes your heart flutter.

You think:
I never prioritized myself…
I never started that business…
I never got that degree…
I never had a baby…
I never explored my creativity…
I never found love…
I never really loved my partner…
I never got to travel to…
I never had the courage to try…
I never…fill in the blank.

I want you to know it’s never too late to honor a longing that is inside you. To feel fully expressed, creative, and have your heart swirling with possibility. Together, encircled in so much love and support, let’s do this heart to heart, soul to soul.

Unconventional wellness retreat Sandy Mitsch

This isn’t a typical wellness retreat

We’re not going to be hiking up mountains, eating nothing but vegetables, or sitting in silent meditation for five days. While those experiences have their place, nothing about this experience involves physical discomfort or deprivation. This retreat is all about nourishing our souls…our heart, mind, body, and spirit.

Do you know soul care is different from self-care?

It takes us beyond the typical ways of “taking care of ourselves” (sleep, eating healthy, exercising, bubble baths, massages) and nurturing the deeper aspects of ourselves. The parts that make us feel fulfilled, purposeful, at peace, and connected to something greater than ourselves.

Soul Care Will Save You From…

• unnecessary burnout
• disconnection
• numbing
• people pleasing
• unboundaried relationships; and
• that feeling of powerlessness.

Can you relate to any of these feelings?

YOU’RE NOT ALONE.

Women are conditioned to care for everyone else’s needs above their own.

Imagine the kind of relationship you would have with your partner, children, family, friends, colleagues, and most importantly, yourself if you weren’t feeling so exhausted, uninspired, and depleted.

We’ll awaken that woman during the retreat.

This retreat is for you if…

Gold heart decorations

You’re woman-identifying or non-binary.

You wish to be in a safe, non-judgmental space with a group of women you will get to know and treasure.

Golden swirl abstract design

You typically give and give to everyone but yourself.

You’ve neglected yourself for too long and want to be pampered, loved on, gifted upon, and nurtured.
Golden butterfly illustration

You want to let down your armor and truly be yourself.

You struggle to be vulnerable and feel safe to share, express yourself, and show up as yourself. But you’d like to try.

Golden flower illustration

You’re exhausted from the constant people-pleasing.

You’ve had enough of worrying so much about what others think of you and want to learn to set boundaries in your relationships.

Intuition concept illustration with human brain and compass

You want to feel seen, heard, and feel less alone.

You want to spend time with people who will listen to you, value you, get you, and hold space just for you.

Creativity is calling you.

Perhaps you already dabble in creative expression or would like to start expressing yourself through creative practices but don’t know where to begin.
Sandy Mitsch Testimonial

“This group knows more about me than many people in my life. I felt safe to share and show up as me.

Thank you, Sandy. With your help and this program, I’ve realized how I’ve been so armored and have protected myself all my life. I didn’t know what that meant until now. I don’t let anyone in. I am always trying to keep everyone else happy. I try to control everything and it’s exhausting.

Your guidance has been life-changing. I set a boundary with my husband for the first time last week. It was hard but it felt right. I also broke down and cried to my youngest son and he said “It’s okay to be vulnerable, Mom.” I can’t thank you enough.”

DAY 2

Opening Your Heart.

We will explore: Values | Creativity | Emotions | Relationships

Exploring matters of the heart is essential for leading a fulfilling and balanced life. It enriches your relationships, enhances your well-being, and fosters growth and creativity. In this session, you will explore and get clear about your values (the beliefs you hold most important).

Our values guide our way to living a life on purpose. We will use our creativity as an expression of our unique soul. Emotions are a rich source of inspiration for creativity and self-expression. The only way to connect with others is through emotion. First, we must understand our own emotions. Only then can we better understand and empathize with others, leading to stronger connections. Exploring your feelings allows you to process them in a healthy way. The path to whole, healthy relationships and boundaries starts with us.

DAY 3

Quieting Your Mind.

We will explore: Our Stories | Beliefs | Inner Guidance | Shame Resilience

We will examine our thoughts, beliefs, and narratives, and you will gain insight into your inner workings. Understanding the stories you tell yourself and how they influence your perceptions can help you identify and challenge your limiting beliefs, leading to personal growth and self-development. We all have a story that is worth honoring and sharing. Some of our stories are made up of lies and we need to get to the truths. The truth about who we are and how we can live our most authentic life.

Our inner critic can be loud and obnoxious, we need to quiet that voice and listen to our inner guidance and trust our intuition. Shame resilience is the game changer for living a wholehearted life. “Shame is the intensely painful feeling or experience of believing that we are flawed and therefore unworthy of love and belonging.” — Brené Brown. Sharing your stories and experiences of resilience can foster connection and empathy with others. All are essential for personal growth, adaptation, and empowerment. It enables you to understand yourself better, navigate challenges more effectively, and cultivate connections with others.

DAY 4

Calming Your Body.

We will explore: Safety | Well-Being | Self-Love & Self-Compassion

When you feel safe in your environment, you feel less stressed and anxious about making mistakes or being judged. You’re more likely to speak up, share, take risks, express your opinions, have tough conversations, and ask for what you need. A feeling of safety is essential for us to let ourselves be seen and heard. Taking care of your body and nervous system is essential for promoting overall well-being.

By prioritizing soul care practices, you can cultivate a foundation of well-being that allows you to thrive in all aspects of your life. We explore the relationship between your body, mind, heart and spirit to help you recognize the interconnectedness of physical sensations, emotions, thoughts, and your soul’s purpose. Developing self-love and self-compassion involves acknowledging and accepting your physical and emotional experiences without judgment, fostering a deeper understanding of yourself.

Cultivating self-compassion is essential for healing from challenges. When you treat yourself with kindness and understanding, you create an environment for healing.

DAY 5

Awakening Your Spirit.

We will explore: Essence | Authenticity | Purpose | Energy Balancing

Exploring your essence and authenticity involves delving into the core of your being to uncover your true nature and desires. This journey of self-discovery allows you to align with your inner truth, leading to greater self-awareness, confidence, and self-acceptance. Authenticity involves living in alignment with your true self. Living in alignment with your values, both of which fosters genuine connections with others. When you are authentic, you attract like-minded individuals and build deeper, more meaningful relationships based on trust, mutual respect, and understanding.

Exploring matters of the spirit allows you to connect with a sense of purpose and meaning. This exploration can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself and your place in the world, creating a sense of fulfillment and inner peace. We need to pay attention to our energy so it flows freely and we can remove blockages and imbalances. The energy centers in your body offer a framework for understanding the subtle shifts within your body. Exploring and balancing your energy can promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, leading to greater harmony and balance.

MEET YOUR GUIDE

Hi, I’m Sandy Mitsch

I am a retreat facilitator, masterful coach, and compassionate soul guide.

But really, I am a nurturer of hearts and a stand for women who have lost touch with who they are, the dreams and desires of their hearts, and showing up authentically in life.

Over the last 38 years, I have helped thousands of women discover and live into their full potential, have more self-compassion and self-love, and truly live from a place of worthiness.

I lead soulful living retreats so that women who’ve lost their way can find their way back to themselves.

It’s finally your turn to be nurtured.

Sandy Mitsch's motivational text 'Put Yourself First'

Put Yourself First

So rarely do we as women spend time focused on ourselves. Slow down, reflect, and let yourself be nurtured for a change.

Sandy Mitsch's positive client testimonial picture

“I’m leaving with new skills to help me be myself and take a stand for myself.

Before I came to this workshop six weeks ago, I was a mess. My life felt out of control. I felt like I was living my life for everyone else and worried about what everyone else thinks of me.

Now, I have more confidence, I’m living my values, I’m having difficult conversations at work, and I’m showing myself more self-compassion. It’s hard but now I have the tools to deal with things. This came at the most perfect time for me.”

We are all creative beings and we will use our hands to express our thoughts and the yearnings of our hearts. All supplies will be provided along with guided instruction.

Do I have to be religious to attend?

While this retreat is about connecting to our spirit, this is not a religious retreat. Soul care is a holistic approach to well-being that involves nurturing the deeper aspects of the self, our inner essence. Soul care encompasses practices that nourish the spirit, foster inner peace, and cultivate a sense of purpose. Soul care is about tending to the deeper dimensions of our life, addressing questions of meaning, purpose, and fulfillment.

How many women will be attending the retreat?

We will have a maximum of 10 women at the retreat to ensure it is an intimate experience. Each and every woman will have the opportunity to share and feel like an integral part of the experience.

I'm nervous about being with a group of women I don’t know. Will I fit in?

What I know from years of leading retreats is that the exact group of women who show up for the retreat are exactly who was called to be there. You will meet new people, reconnect with people you may know, and make new lifelong friendships and connections.

What’s the weather like in Sarasota in February?

The average daily temperature in February is between 70-76 degrees. At night, it generally gets down to around 60 or just below.
